Copy Cat

Evan is so much fun right now, we love having a little one year-old toddling around the house. What has amazed us recently is how much he learns just by copying us. I've started taking him in the shower with me occasionally, to keep him out of trouble. He loves it! He's so cute because he copies us and tries to be just like us. He will hold the shampoo bottle and rub his hand on it or rub his hands together and then rub his head or his belly. Yesterday we were out in the backyard and John had filled up the baby pool for us. It was quite hot out and so John went up to the pool and put some water on his hair to cool off. So Evan follows him up to the pool, dips his hand in the water, and rubs it on his head too. Its so much fun but it also makes us more aware of what we're doing because Evan is going to copy us!
