The Couch Burning

John and I decided that to mark our passage into a new chapter of our life we would ceremoniously burn our beloved couch. This couch has been with us since we were first married, a gift from his parents. It was their couch when they first got married and it's cushions have been graced by many a Colver hiney. We have loved taking naps on it since it is the perfect length and we can both fit snuggly on it. So we invited all our friends and had a great time in Jerry Boyle's horse pasture while we awaited the moment when the couch would be sacrificed. When the time came it burned so quickly, we realized that we had been hoarding a major fire hazard. The flames reached so high and we roasted a marshmallow from at least 10 feet away. We will definitely miss our Georgetown people but I guess you could say we went out in flames.

Sailin'

For our anniversary we celebrated by going sailing up in Charleston with our friend, Vince Reiley. We stayed the night on the boat and then Vince met us early the next morning to go sailing. It was so much fun and so relaxing, we had a great time. We also got to see a group of dolphins playing in the harbor.

Baby on the Move

This is our baby moving around, making mommy's belly dance. He's really active and we think he's starting to get squashed in his tight quarters... maybe he's starting to feel ready to come out. But we always tell him it's not time yet and he needs to keep cooking for a little longer, we're excited to meet him when its time!
