This past weekend my mom came into town to help me can some peaches and spaghetti sauce. While she was here we went to the Spokane Fair. Earlier that week we tried to go to the rodeo as a family, john and I really enjoy the rodeo. Evan, on the other hand could have cared mess about the rodeo. When we first got there we had some french fries and he sat like an angel for about 2 minutes. I thought, What luck! maybe we'll actually succeed in watching the rodeo. Alas, after he finished his french fries we were thing turns going for walks as Evan would not hold still. Next year I think we'll get a babysitter. Once we decided to leave the rodeo, the fair and amusements were in full swing all around the Grand Stand. Evan was so excited and pointed and ran towards everything. He loved the lights and the toys.
When we went to the fair portion later that week we mostly visited the animals. We had a great time and Evan loved seeing all the different kinds of animals. We'll definitely take him again next year!

Evan loved riding the tractor. They had a whole bunch of antique and restored tractors on display. We took this picture before we saw the sign to stay off the tractors :)
