This week we have two reasons to celebrate.
1. John took his last final of the quarter and he has now officially finished the classroom portion of his PA program. On April 6 he will start his first clinical rotation. One year from now exactly he will have graduated and he'll be preparing to take his board exams to be a licensed Physician's Assistant. Yay John!
2. I inserted my first IV! I did a rotation in day surgery this week and all we did was insert IV's into people preparing for minor surgery. I watched a few and then I got to try. My first try was successful (I got a little help.) Then I got to try again on another patient and I had to try twice (whoops!) but the guy was super nice and I was successful and I didn't pass out!

YES!!! Yay for John! I knew he could make it through! No more stinking classroom! Yay for Victoria! I'm pretty sure I would've been woozy with the whole IV thing! Congrats! Also, I feel special for my pie being posted. :D
