Possums are Ugly
A few weeks ago we were hanging out with our friends Dallas and Harry Fougeron at their house in Richmond Hill when we saw our first (live) possum. (seen a few dead ones on the side of the road) We were watching Fly Boys (great movie) and we heard some rummaging outside on their deck. We looked out and there was this big, fat possum eating their birdseed. After seeing Over the Hedge I thought they'd be cute but they're actually pretty ugly. They're about the size of a medium-sized dog and have thick rat tails. It actually reminded me of the nasty creature in the forest on Princess Bride, the RUS: Rodents of Unusual Size. I couldn't find a picture but you know what I'm talking about. Enjoy the pictures of our close encounter with wildlife.

Gross! There's a family at church whose little girl carries around a stuffed possum...bleah. Will really wanted to eat it too. My experience with possums (live ones) is having them hiss at me while driving precariously close to them on the road.
I have still never seen a live possum - only dead ones. The pie looks so yummy!! Congrats on your IV. And I heart Dwight too :).
