The Best 2 Years!!

Yesterday, May 6, 2008, was our 2 year anniversary. We were surprised how fast it crept up on us, we were still saying that we'd been married just over a year up until last week. Our wedding day was a perfect day. The weather was beautiful and all I felt was peace all day long. To celebrate our anniversary John and I went to dinner at Elizabeth on 37th. It's one of the fanciest places in town, we felt a little out of place there. Our server was very animated and entertaining when he told us about the night's specials. We think he may be a Shapespearian actor in his spare time. The food was good and we had fun together all the same. That's what's great about being married: no matter where you go you're always with the person you enjoy being with.

Thank goodness we both decided to go on a study abroad to a little place called Senegal 3 years ago. That is where we met and fell in love.

The time has flown but it has been the best two years of our lives. We've had so much fun together and we've done so many things. I definitely wouldn't be living in Georgia right now if it weren't for John. This year, in addition to driving across the country in a big moving truck, we went to on a trip to Washington, DC with the medical explorers and drove with my sister Mekoya and nephew Abraham to Penticton, BC for Christmas with my family. We spent lots of fun times with John's family: Sunday dinners, family get-togethers, Kayden's birth and blessing, canoeing at Salem pond, and the Spanish Fork Rodeo. We miss them and wish we weren't so far away from our families.

Congrats on the 2 year mark! I hate how time goes so fast. I seriously get sad thinking about how the first years of marriage are already behind us. You're right though, all the adventures are much more fun when your with your hubby! I love the pictures from Senegal. Post more!

Happy Anniversary! I am so happy you found each other too, because if you hadn't come to Georgia, I may have never met you. (And it is still the coolest thing that we had the same sealer!)

La multi ani meaning happy anniversary in romanian. Liking each other is great and with time and patience it only gets better, that is if you work on it ALL the time. ;)
We like each other a lot too and we are happy you like each other as well too.
