Snow makes the winter season feel like the Christmas season. Christmas just doesn't feel the same without it. I love curling up in front of a fire or with some hot chocolate or apple cider when the snow is falling outside - it gives you that 'cozy' feeling.
I also love the sound of the snowplow. Call me crazy but it reminds me of home. I distinctly remember falling asleep in my bed at Centennial when I was a sophmore at BYU and hearing the sound of the snowplow. I was instantly transported back to my childhood, lying in bed at night in the house where I grew up, listening to the snowplow run up and down our street. That's the first time I realized that I love the sound of the snowplow and that it reminds me of home. It's comforting.
So I'm wishing for snow and knowing that I won't get any this Christmas. So instead I will leave you with some beautiful pictures of snow and continue dreaming of a white Christmas.

Sheri brought me Chloe this morning at 7 so I can drop her off at school and they were both super excited because they live out in Buckhead and had a little snow this morning. I was jealouse becasue like you I LOVE the idea of a white Christmas...hate the mess it makes but it seems so perfect this time of year!
We don't have any snow at my house yet, but I'll be sure to post some when we do! :) I feel the same as you do about snow and love those same kinds of things.... We have to shovel our 10 ft driveway, but at least the neighborhood roads get plowed. It's an average of 47 degrees this whole week and sunny. Nothin!
Although I would love snow on Christmas day, that is about it. And be careful what you wish for - could you imagine the horrible drivers in Savannah with snow on the roads - he he!
you guys are cute. we miss you. finally our blog is repaired and relocated: icleanu.com. i'll add some snow pics for you. :)
