Atlanta Temple with the Browns

Copyright 2003 Rick Satterfield

Today John and I went to the Atlanta Temple with our friends the Browns. We watched their kids so that they could go through the temple together and then we did a session. We actually had to leave at 4:30 this morning so that we could get there in time for Kevin and Lisa to make the 8:30 session. We had to go especially early because of the temple closing in the afternoon for the Relief Society Broadcast. It was kind of a long drive, I can't complain though, John and I slept most of the way up.

While Kevin and Lisa were in the temple we did yoga with the kids, got them changed and ready, and fed them breakfast. Those kids have a lot of energy!

I think this picture is so funny because Derek and Lily look like reverent little angels, but this is probably the only time they were still the entire trip!

After the temple we went to the famous Cheesecake factory for our very first time. We also wanted to hit chipotle - awesome burritos - so all we ordered were fries and cheesecake. Not the healthiest meal but it was amazing. And finally, we checked out Costco, reminiscing of our Utah days. On the way home John and Kevin played guitar hero in the back and Lisa and I talked in the front. A pretty long and exhausting day but a great trip.
