Happy New Year!

Well it's 2009 and we can hardly believe it! This year has absolutely flown by! We celebrated New Years by getting together with our friends the Browns an playing Pinochle and Quest for the Galaxy. It was a fun night.
Not only is this a new year but it also marks our year mark for moving to Savannah. We've loved being here, it's been a great year.

One of the biggest events of our year was our trek across the country to move from Provo UT to Savannah GA: 2141 miles, 32 hours, and a moving truck towing our car.
This was probably the best place we could move to because its a military ward and its always changing. We quickly gained friends and at only a year here we've been here longer than probably half the ward.
Some of my favorite things about this year have been joining a book club, starting a blog, and starting nursing school. John has really enjoyed getting his iphone, starting PA school, going deep-sea fishing, going to Universal Studios, and visiting home for Halo-fest 2008. We also enjoyed seeing John's family for a week in June, going to see Wicked, and visiting Asheville for Thanksgiving.
This has been a great year and we hope the coming year is even better yet!
